Discussion Questions
PRE-VIDEO:
Do you have a favourite story character? Why is that character your favourite? What do you like about them?
Think about your favourite person in the real world. How would you describe them?
What words can you think of to describe their PERSONALITY?
POST VIDEO:
According to Mat and Melissa, what makes a good story character? What sort of things do YOU think makes a good story character?
Why is it important to think about the characters in your story? What sorts of things might you want to know about them when you’re writing your story?
